Cristróbal Balenciaga: Technique, Material and Form
001
- At the Balenciaga Museum in Getaria, we presented an installation as part of the exhibition “Cristóbal Balenciaga: Technique, Material and Form”, reinterpreting the forms and silhouettes of Cristóbal Balenciaga and inviting visitors to relive his history and recognize the immense legacy he left in haute couture.
002
- The installation uses milled surfaces and volumetric sculptures as a canvas for a mapping that brings the designs to life.
003
- luminating these milled forms, the designs become lines in motion, reflecting Balenciaga’s vision about fashion as an architectural and sculptural art.
004
- The installation places the visitors in a space where Balenciaga’s forms are reinterpreted through technology, allowing his legacy be perceived not only as an historical memory but also as a living inspiration that sets the course for the future.
005
- This project has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum and a multidisciplinary team that brought together creativity, design, and technology to expand the boundaries of museum exhibition.
