Patterns of Time

001
  • We presented one of our latest mappings, “Patterns of Time” at the KLANGLICHT Festival in Graz, a journey through the relationship between art, nature, and time. It embodies what Onionlab truly believes: art as the most positive legacy humanity leaves on Earth.
002
  • Using the Uhrturm tower as a canvas (a tower that can be seen from all over the city), we narrate a journey through time, examining how artists of the past interpreted nature and their environment.
003
  • We delve into the artistic, conceptual and auditive resources that humanity has developed over various historical eras, whether in urban landscapes, along highways or in natural environments, expanding our connection to the world.
004

At Onionlab we firmly believe that art is the most positive legacy humanity has left on Earth.

  • This piece follows the idea that human artistic creation is a manifestation of our relationship with the time and space we inhabit.
005
  • In this show, our canvas is a clock, not just any clock, but the clock of a city that reminds us that time is passing, and we have limited time to care for nature.  The piece is divided into seven patterns each of which lasts for one minute with its own music offering a unique interpretation of nature through the art of its respective era.
006
  • “Patterns of Time” also explores patterns generated by artificial intelligence, delving into how AI perceives the relationship between nature and humanity and raising essential questions.
