Paradoxa VR
- We adapted our piece Paradoxa into a virtual reality format. This piece portrays a journey showing different elements from the past, present, and our idea of the future.
The imagery of Paradoxa consists of various complex structures, imaginary spaces, mechanisms, and time machines.
- Through these powerful images, the audience experiences the sensation of traveling firsthand through different periods of time.
- Ontological paradoxes are situations that occur when time traveling and cause contradictions. The predestination paradox occurs when a time traveler becomes trapped in a cycle of events that predestines them to continue time traveling.
Paradoxa is a time journey that allows us to see and experience different moments in time, projected onto the facade of a building. It’s a cycle of time without beginning or end, in which we are transported to the past, present, future, and beyond.
- The VR experience of Paradoxa is divided into 3 different moments that repeat and add variations simultaneously.
Time travel has always been a fascinating subject, whether as a narrative device in science fiction, a logic puzzle, or as a topic of study in physics and philosophy. The building will transform with jumps in time that will help us imagine what our future could be like.
- We want the audience to ask themselves the following questions: Could we modify our future with our current questions? Could we change our present by traveling to the past? Could we cease to exist if we change our past?
